MUSIC FESTIVAL 2026
What a fantastic evening! The weather was brilliant and the music even better.
Thank you to the Sports Club for all their help and keeping us refreshed with the bar all through the evening.
Thank you to Nice Bites and Plush Pizzas for the food . Also thank you to Shipston Town Council and the Angling Trust for their support and everyone else involved helping to make this happen.
And thank you to the Shipston Community for their support and making this event so successful.
ULTIMATE ANGLER 2026
FISH N FROLICS
Shipston angling club's 3 day Fishing festival on the river Stour at Shipston, the river Avon at Seven Meadows and the match pool at Aston Magna.
This year 35 anglers competited in the annual FnF Ultimate Angler competition in which every angler has to fish all 3 venues rotating each day and the angler with the best results over the 3 days wins the trophy.
Well done to Phil Outram on winning this year's Ultimate Angler with two seconds places and a third place. Second place from Newbury was Colin Woodley and the third placed Angler was Steve Arthurs .
Special thanks go to all the anglers that took part and this leads up to the second weekend of the FnF Festival with 3 days of junior tuition starting on the river Stour at the sports club on the Friday and Saturday and at Aston Magna on the Sunday, book in through the Angling Trust website on swim booker. The main event is also at the Sports club on Saturday where we have live music, inflatable castle, hook a duck, face painting, balloon modeling, food wagons, bar and more plus it's free entry and family friendly.
